Adv. (CPA.) Yuval Cohen joined the firm as partner in 2018.

Tax Authority Graduated:

  • In 2016, Adv. (CPA.) Yuval Cohen retired from the Tax Authority, after 21 years of service. His last position was Tel Aviv 5 Assessing Officer, which is the spearhead of the ITA in the field of withholding tax at source, Nonresidents taxation, NPOs (non-profit organizations), and is the leading agency of tax collection in the State of Israel (approximately NIS 30 billion annually).
  • Prior to that, Adv. (CPA) Yuval Cohen served as Deputy Assessing Officer in Holon for six years, and was responsible, among other things, for all aspects of audit and professional matters.
  • During 1999-2004, Adv. (CPA) Yuval Cohen served as national supervisor in the Policy & Planning Division. As part of his position, he took part in formulating the ITA's policy in various professional fields. Among other things, he served as a representative of the ITA to the OECD, in several Working Parties (WP), and coordinated the work of the Authority in the field of tax treaties and taxation of electronic commerce.
  • During 1995-1999, Adv. (CPA) Yuval Cohen served as an inspector in the Companies Division of the Ramla Assessment office, and conducted audits and assessments for public companies, kibbutzim and Moshavim, multi-national groups and other leading business groups in the Israeli economy.
  • During his years of work for the ITA, Adv. (CPA) Yuval Cohen took a part in various professional committees. He served as secretary of the committee for taxation of traditional kibbutzim, member of the Committee for Taxation of Capital Reductions, Revaluations and Self-Acquisitions, secretary of the Committee for taxation of the Diamond industry, Chairman of the Committee of Renewable Kibbutzim Taxation, Chairman of the Committee of Withholding Tax at Source and More.

In the years 2016-2017, Adv. (CPA) Yuval Cohen has completed his internship in law, under the supervision of Adv. Ronen Rosenblum - one of the leading and prominent lawyers in the field of AML (anti money laundering) and white-collar crimes.

Adv. (CPA) Yuval Cohen serves as a member of the Tel Aviv Area Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel, since 2016, in which he is a member of the Seminars and Training Committee.
